Hello, all!
Sorry – I know it’s been a while. Between traveling, moving, and finding a new job in a new city, this blog fell to the wayside for a couple of months. But, I am happy to say, we’ve moved into our new NYC apartment, bought some furniture, found the grocery store – but more importantly, I found a job! I’ll be working as a paralegal for the next couple of years, deciding if law school is right for me. I start a week from today at a firm downtown which means that I am able to give this little nook of the internet some serious TLC over the next several days.
Which is great because I have so much to share with you! Over the next several weeks expect updates and photo journals regarding our adventures in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, as well as my adventures and misadventures exploring the city that never sleeps.
Until then, here are a few things that have been keeping me occupied on the internet:
Sfgirlbybay’s post about Denmark-based House Doctor leaves the homewares-hoarder in me drooling.
British artist Banksy has done it again with his new dystopian theme park Dismaland. Photos of the art installment leave me intrigued, if not uncomfortable.
Having recently purchased a 25mm lens (50mm equivalent) for my Olympus E-PL7, these tips on using a prime lens are so helpful!
We met a wonderful german couple in Pamplona who tried to convince us to visit Germany. These photos of Ruedesheim from Living in Another Language sealed the deal!
This video, though obviously sponsored, makes me with that we had the funds to visit the whimsical Michelin-starred wonderland that is DiverXO while we were in Madrid.
I also wish I had used this easy 5-4-3-2-1 packing guide while traveling!
Love always,
Erin
